Terms and Conditions for renting a car with Wiggle Car Hire in Cape Town
Our rentals are based on 24-hour self-drive rentals. If you pick up the car at 09:00, you need to return it the following day by 09:00. To complete your rental, we require the following information: full name, email address, home address, Cape Town address, phone number, WhatsApp number, ID number, driver’s license number and expiry date, and credit card number, expiry date, and CVV.
Our rentals include 150 km per day, with additional charges for extra kilometers. The car will be provided with a full tank of fuel, and we ask that you return it refueled. The vehicles are comprehensively insured, and in case of damage, your maximum liability is limited to the excess amount. We will not hold this amount on your card. Instead, we will inform you of the excess amount and discuss repair costs if damages are below this amount. For instance, we charge R1000 immediately for a scratched rim, but for more extensive damage, we will obtain quotes and discuss the cost with you.
We offer 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can contact us anytime for help. There are additional charges for certain services: a R150 admin fee if we need to refuel the vehicle, and delivery and collection fees—R300 each way for the airport, hotels, homes, or events, and R750 each way for Stellenbosch and surrounding areas. This streamlined process ensures a hassle-free rental experience with clear terms and conditions.
